Living everyday life with all its demands can be challenging and very overwhelming. Rushing from place to place, making ends meet, paying bills and living up to others expectations often can easily pull us away from the important stuff. Of course the important stuff is different to all of us and it is fine as we all need something else to keep us happy. During the course of my life my important stuff was changing and different things were becoming my priority until I finally realized what the real happiness means to me. Oh boy, I feel like I could write a separate post or even a chapter on this but not today, not yet :) Anyways… what I am trying to say is, that it is easy to get tangled and miss the simple things and moments. Moments that make the best memories and keep us present. So today I encourage you to slow down a bit and ask yourself a question: What really makes me happy? What makes me feel my best?
My happiness is the quality, uninterrupted time spent with my family. Just being with them, watching them, hearing them is what fills my heart with joy and brings meaning to my life. Here is a sneak peak of my happy :)
“Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going too fast, you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.” – Eddie Cantor
What is your happy? When do you feel the best of yourself?
